About Groove Tunnel
Created in August 2002 by owner Rod Spark, Groove Tunnel consists of 4 purpose built rehearsal studios that have been independently sound proofed and acoustically treated as well as two live rooms and a control room for recording.
Everyone involved in Groove Tunnel has made it their aim to provide a clean, professional rehearsal and recording experience for you. All equipment is regularly serviced to ensure your time there is productive and problem free.
As well as the studios there are two comfortable lounges with sofas, games and sound systems for you to take time to relax during a session.
A fully fitted kitchen provides everything you need for longer sessions.
For regular bands there are storage facilities to keep your equipment on premises.
We have CCTV throughout the building for your safety and security. The public areas are monitored constantly but in the interest of privacy, the rooms are only viewed in the case of theft or damage. The CCTV also allows us to film your rehearsals if you wish to work on your stage act and we can also take footage to use in promotional videos to help you in your career.
All staff at Groove Tunnel are music professionals so please ask us any questions or seek advice as required. We are happy to help and move you up the ladder.
We guarantee to get all recording done here into the hands of the movers and shakers of the music world to secure you gigs, radio airplay and social media coverage.
We have a green policy which is why we have sensors in place of ordinary light switches to ensure the lights are only ever on when there's someone in that room. It's like magic when you walk through the building but don't touch the sensors or you'll damage them and be asked to pay for them.
We also sort our rubbish into recycling, glass and general waste to help the environment. We want the next generation of musicians to enjoy the world that we had when we were just starting out. You might not agree with us but please respect our view on it all.
Lastly a secure dedicated car park that is covered by CCTV.
